About federal law enforcement:
Providing consultations to local police is properly the job of state police unless the need is for odd and esoteric expertise. The crew responsible for this travesty are not likely repositories for that.
The forensic science and database compilations the FBI does aren’t the work of this crew either.
Cybersecurity is primarily the responsibility of the Central Security Service, which is in the Defense Department.
The FBI does not guard the borders or man points-of-entry or chase down those violating the immigration laws; specialized agencies do that.
We have another specialized agency to stanch drug trafficking.
The police force in Slidell, La records its interrogations. The FBI doesn’t. Local police also don’t have the tools or the audacity to charge someone with a crime for ‘lying’ to them when they’re not under oath.
Peter Sztrok and Andrew McCabe were repeatedly promoted within the ranks.
