A Very Catholic President

News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Washington Post drew some criticism from nutty right-wingers today after calling Joe Biden “a very Catholic president who worships Satan.”

“Biden is a very, very Catholic man, who just so happens to also worship Satan,” a WaPo reporter wrote in the piece. “This is in direct contrast to many extremist, lunatic, fringe, right-wing bishops who oppose the practice, with many saying it might not align with traditional Catholic teaching.”

The article chronicled Biden’s deep Catholic faith, as he sometimes goes to Mass when priests don’t ban him from participating in Holy Communion, and then goes back to the White House where he sacrifices goats to Lucifer, Prince of Darkness. According to the reporter, Biden is known for referencing Bible verses in one breath and then quoting the Necronomicon in the next — showing that there really is no conflict between the “very Catholic” president and his other, unrelated beliefs like that Satan is the Dark Lord of Greatness and should be worshiped by all.

“This is a growing clash between the extremists and the moderate, centrist, Satan-worshiping Biden,” the piece continued. “Republicans continue to pounce on Biden’s very Catholic practices, such as drawing pentagrams on the Oval Office floor and summoning Lucifer to commune with him and feast on the souls of the lost.”

Go here to read the rest.  Oh the Bee is just kidding!  Our very Catholic President doesn’t worship Satan.  I doubt he worships anything in his cloudy brain other than money, power, warm milk and cold tapioca pudding.  He merely supports the killing of inconvenient unborn kids, an appalling crime that cries out to God for justice.  My friend Jay Anderson nails it in regard to our hapless Bishops and Biden:

Good God, why do I even bother with this Church? The feckless Bishops, not to mention Pope Humbleness I, obviously don’t believe about the Eucharist or abortion what they claim to believe about the Eucharist and abortion. If they did believe the Eucharist is who they claim it is, and abortion to be what they claim it to be, there’s no way in Hell they’d let any pro-abortion politician come near the Body of Christ.

I can understand and empathize with the anguish.  As for myself, and this is meant as no criticism of Jay who I hold in high esteem, my position was set out almost sixty years ago in the science fiction novel Soldier Ask Not by Gordon R.  Dickson:

“Suppose it was even as you think,” he went on, even more gently. “Suppose that all you say was a fact, and that our Elders were but greedy tyrants, ourselves abandoned here by their selfish will and set to fulfill a false and prideful purpose. No.” Jamethon’s voice rose. “Let me attest as if it were only for myself. Suppose that you could give me proof that all our Elders lied, that our very Covenant was false. Suppose that you could prove to me”—his face lifted to mine and his voice drove at me—“that all was perversion and falsehood, and nowhere among the Chosen, not even in the house of my father, was there faith or hope! If you could prove to me that no miracle could save me, that no soul stood with me, and that opposed were all the legions of the universe, still I, I alone, Mr. Olyn, would go forward as I have been commanded, to the end of the universe, to the culmination of eternity. For without my faith I am but common earth. But with my faith, there is no power can stay me!”

What the Church teaches is true, no matter how many Judases in high places within her daily betray Christ.

We are repeating the way of the Cross in our lives and especially in our present time with the Church suffering the eclipse of Vatican II and now with “Pope” Francis in the role of Joseph Caiaphas condemning us for following God’s law and will.

We should thank God for such an opportunity to display our loyalty.

Just as Judas had to play his part in this ongoing opera, Valley of Tears, so too Biden.

Judas and Joe had a “thing” about money. Infatuation. As we know you can’t serve God and love money…one wins out. Judas came to the end of the rope. His conclusion ended in Potter’s field.

Joe, a devout Catholic, will come to the end too and have to consider his actions and his professed beliefs.

Did they align?

Epitaph.

What profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his soul in the process? [paraphrasing]

62 million souls are paying very close attention to this very Catholic President. They are the collateral damage from a broken nation. A nation which continues the slaughter of the innocent.

[ in the end, a soul finds itself walking towards the light. as it nears the end of the corridor it see’s two figures. the soul stops before them
one of them is Jesus. the other is Lucifer. a cloud of witnesses appears. they ask the soul; “whom did you serve?”

the soul answers. ]

If only one brave Priest denied him the Eucharist the next time he walked up to receive it. Just one. With a Blessing for repentance and a dismissal. This would be music to the hearts of many. A small prelude of Gods Justice to come, and a loud message that His Body and Blood will be not be desecrated for political gain.
