Oh come on. Why aren’t there laws exempting children from wearing masks? This has gone way beyond a joke.
Do I miss Trump? The man who was president when these corporate policies were put in place? This is the RW version of kids in cages.

These last two comments are a bit contradictory. There’s no problem in that; they were made by two different people. But it makes it hard for me to reply to both of them. I’m more in line with Art’s position, but as a critique of this article. Why would an airline story make us miss Trump if he wasn’t in charge of the airlines? But that also highlights the fact that, whatever influence a president may exert, these kinds of rules came into place under Trump, no matter what the claims are that he temperamentally opposed them.
In all of these episodes the person enforcing an idiotic law or rule always says: “I’m not doing this by choice…”

Because the current administration is staffed with officials promoting goalpost moving. This isn’t that confusing.
This was actually an anti-semitic incident. The father was wearing a yamulke. Judging by how the toddler was dressed they appear to be foreign Jews. The well behaved toddler was eating!. Who eats with a mask on, whether child or an adult? The airline shouldn’t serve food and the lucrative alcohol beverages on the aircraft if passengers have to eat, drink with a mask. Ridiculous. Wondering whether this incident started because another passenger complained or did the stewardess err the attendant take it upon herself to harrass the family?
