The job of the Secret Service is a mix of dignitary protection and containment of counterfeiting, neither of this is advanced by attempting to intimidate merchants in an effort to stave off political embarrassments. Who instructed these field agents to do this? (Yeah, I know, we’ll never learn that).
Ah you know officer… there’s a lot of lakes in Maine. There I was hunting for a week, making my way across a lake and a storm kicked up. The canoe flipped and I lost everything.
The Biden administration will make the Second Amendment a nullity unless prevented from doing so by the Supreme Court. What I find irritating is the lack of candor by some “conservatives “. The Second Amendment was not placed in our Constitution so people could hunt game and target practice. It’s primary purpose was to have an armed citizenry so that, as a last resort, those weapons could be used against a tyrannical government. Perhaps this truth is too hard, especially in today’s time.
Make it a nullity? How? We have almost 400 million firearms in private possession. Would they attempt to go door to door to round those up? I can think of nothing more likely to be simultaneously completely ineffective and liable to ignite a civil war. A ban on ammunition would simply create a vast continental sized black market, with red states acting as second amendment sanctuaries. 3D printers would lead to endless cottage industry manufacture of both ammunition and guns if necessary. (There are some 422,000 3d printers in the US and they become cheaper each year.) Paper laws may be passed against firearms and ammunition, and they would be completely ineffective.
Like everything the liberals ‘have,’ gun control is a BIG LIE. It has nothing to do with guns. It has 100% to do with control.
Annually, (stats are for 2017) many more Americans are killed with knives (1,591); with hammers/blunt instruments (467); than all long barreled firearms (assault rifles are a small minority) 403.
I withdrew my consent.
We consented to be governed by the Constitution, which was meant to protect we the people from the government.
The Constitution does not empower elected (even an election not stolen) dictatorship.
Since April 1765, collective refusal to comply with laws perceived as unconstitutional or unjust has been a fundamental feature of American democratic discourse.
January 2021, immediately after shooting Hong Kong citizens, Red China instructed Xhou Bai Den and its other American puppets – the Chinese Occupation Junta – that America has a gun crisis.
Not this time, comrade.
