During military training sessions to address extremism in the ranks, some service members have challenged why the Pentagon is not treating the violence during racial injustice protests last summer as equal to the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.
That the two events are viewed as equivalent by some troops has caught the Pentagon’s attention in its effort to educate service members that extremist views and activity — on either side of the political spectrum — go against the oath they took when they joined the military, the top enlisted leader told reporters on Thursday.
“This is coming from every echelon that we’re talking to,” said Ramón Colón-López, the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. “Some people may think that, ‘all right, so the events of 6 January happened. How come you’re not looking at the situation that was going on in Seattle prior to that?’”
Some officers need to be shot out of the torpedo tubes. That this never happened on my old submarine is a testament to the patience of the torpedomen. That was back at the end of the Carter and beginning of the Reagan Administrations when things were saner than today. Few on the submarine were those who supported that worthless, useless Democrat. Even though he was a former Navy nuke officer, Adm. Rickover (the father of the nuclear Navy) called him one of his biggest mistakes. When at sea (actually under the sea) we learned that Reagan won the election, the majority cheered and those who didn’t kept silent (an underwhelming minority). I am hoping today’s military men & women feel the same way. The above post gives me hope.

The problem with the ECHO chamber the Progressives have created is that they don’t understand that they are the only ones who believe the propaganda they continually regurgitate.
The establishment may be salivating for a return to overseas military adventures but the political and senior military leadership have exposed themselves as frauds to those needed to fight wars.
If a military adventure triggers a recruitment and retention crisis. I wonder if Biden will be willing to re-establish the draft.
