The sooner all of this reaches the climax stage the better.

Placing a lid on his life on earth…
that’s what’s up.
Well done feminists for evil.
Your closer to your goal.

A presser would reveal what we already know. He is kaput.
How dare the MSM ask this devout catholic anything in public or in front of cameras. Taboo for the party of death.

While we’re at it, why do we have women promoted to combat commands, or any women in combat at all? We’ll lose our next war because our politicians exploit the military as a toy theatre for their social fantasies.

And then the question will be who is running her. She’s been a government employee her whole adult life and being Willie Brown’s sidepiece was crucial to her advancement. I never thought much of Howard Relin, the district attorney in my home town (whose staff, I would wager, was about the same size as her’s in San Francisco). I heard my share of catty remarks about Howard Relin when I worked at the Hall of Justice; no one ever said he was a gigolo.

While we’re at it, her parents were here on student visas the year she was born and she spent much of her upbringing in Toronto. Unlike Obama and unlike Ted Cruz, her eligibility actually is questionable. Not that our appellate courts have much interest in law anymore.

“We’ll lose our next war because our politicians exploit the military as a toy theatre for their social fantasies.” AD

We have lost 62 million Americans in the ongoing war on the unborn.
If there is another war, we will be defeated because of the ridiculous antics of the politicians but mostly because we haven’t cared for our most vulnerable and helpless Americans.
We have become their enemy.
With more of our taxpayer money to aid in the slaughter my assumption is that we will be made an example of what happens when enough people abandon God and His mercies. Mercy first..then Justice.

How I hope I’m wrong.

History, unfortunately, repeats itself when the Divine compass is thrown away.

Lord have Mercy…

While we’re at it…has anyone here read at least a summary of HR 1? There’s a pretty frightening one today over at Ace of Spades HQ.
When this bill is enacted, if the SCOTUS does not find significant parts of it to be unconstitutional, the Republic is officially dead and cannot be revived. I don’t think that is an exaggeration.

the Republic is officially dead and cannot be revived. I don’t think that is an exaggeration.

It is an exaggeration. Abroad, the quantum of electoral fraud has ebbed and flowed. What it will do is manufacture a situation in this country so ugly we haven’t seen it in several generations. The partisan Democrats of my acquaintance pretend it isn’t happening, or they pretend that ballot security is unimportant if some niche clientele they conjure out of their imagination might be inconvenienced – you know, the people who get their paycheck via direct deposit but somehow cannot cadge a picture ID.

It is better overall if the military rots, too. A competent military in the hands of corrupt rulers has been a bad combination, historically speaking.

Not sure who you had in mind. I can’t think of any examples this side of 1789.

Latin America.

And by “competent,” I mean less corrupt, functional, and broadly-seen as the embodiment of what national virtue should be.

Latin America.

Maybe. Latin America tends to have low military budgets. Some of their militaries have some recent history in counter-insurgency, Except for the Chaco and Falklands wars (and the occasional border battle between Peru and Ecuador), there haven’t been any interstate wars since 1885. Argentina’s performance in the Falklands War is not what you’d call ‘competent’. In civil administration, the Chilean and Uruguayan militaries have performed better than others. They were previously in the hands of the Chilean and Uruguayan political class. It wouldn’t surprise me if there were a lot of crooks in Chilean and Uruguayan politics.ca. 1964, but I think the more salient point is that their politicians and senior officials made one bad policy decision after another. (Yeah, I know, sounds familiar).

Not the end game. Real goal: who she is told to pick as VP. This is the point of everything, a Pres who did not get a single vote, in any form. Guy, Texas

“a Pres who did not get a single vote in any form”

We’ve already had one president, Gerald Ford, who, at the time he took office, had not received a single vote for president or vice president, having been appointed VP to replace Spiro Agnew and then acceded to the presidency upon Nixon’s resignation. He had, however, been elected to Congress from his district in Michigan multiple times, and he did come reasonably close to being elected in his own right in 1976.
If a President Harris were to appoint a sitting Congresscritter or Senator as VP she wouldn’t be setting any precedent that Ford had not already set. If she appointed a sitting Governor, I suppose that person could claim to have been elected by their state (but not the rest of the country). To have a totally unelected VP would require appointing someone who has been out of office for some time, or a present/former Cabinet member or other bureaucrat who has not held elective office previously — which could happen, I suppose.

Well, Art, I sincerely hope you’re right and my statement proves to be an exaggeration. I just don’t see how there can ever be a fair national election again if it passes and is not found unconstitutional. And that doesn’t even touch the fact that the bill transfers the congressional redistricting function to a Federal “committee.” What could possibly go wrong with that? But I’ve been surprised before.

I don’t own a TV, so I’m wondering— have our media stayed bought, like the good lapdogs they are, or has Bidet’s cognitive decline made it to prime time? Do the late night hosts make jokes about it yet? Are there skits about it on SNL? Do the Sunday am talking heads on ‘Meet the Press’ harrumph about it yet?

Until those media lackeys get the OK to mention Bidet’s incapacitation, I’ll assume the man’s handlers still have a lock on this administration. It’s when they give their media shills permission to discover his incapacitation that we’ll know he’s being taken to the glue factory.

You can expect the dems to wait a decent interval to begin the process and then bring it to fruition one day past the two year mark so that Kamala can have a shot at 10 years in office. If course there is that risk of having Biden nearly two years in office and everything comes a cropper with the Republicans getting power for two years in the house and senate the eight years in the White House.

@Clinton
.
I do not really have a television either, so all my news comes from print (online versions), blogs, and social media. Here is one article I saw yesterday:
.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/03/my_democrat_friends_are_getting_very_embarrassed.html
.
So, yes, the news must be getting out there, but I am not sure how.
.
On the other hand, a good friend of mine, not really a liberal but not really a conservative either, was excited about Biden’s speach saying we could celebrate the 4th of July.

Come on down to Texas. Most of us celebrated LAST July 4th with family and friends and will do so again this year. The politicians canceled all the big fireworks shindigs last year, but I hate those anyway, so it was no loss. Opening Day for the Texas Rangers will be 100% capacity at Globe Life Park in about three weeks. The reaction of my afternoon golf group to the teleprompter’s speech was eye rolling and laughter.
Six months may be pushing it. There is NO way China Joe lasts two years.

If it were not for the heat and sun, Texas sounds awesome. I have already had a round of skin cancer though, and think I may have another. I would love to visit though.

Didn’t Biden do the exact same things as Vice President as Vice President Harris is now? He both took an outsized role in pushing through major legislation and foreign policy, including calling world leaders. I don’t remember anyone speculating that that meant President Obama was about to transfer the office to him.
