Midnight at the Vatican, a gathering of Jesuits. They enter a room singing, to the tune of Gather Us In:
“Cast him out; he’s lost and forsaken.
Cast him out; he’s blind and he’s lame.
Cast him out; our funds he hath taken.
He shall go down when we condemn his name.”
Pope Francis appears. Thank you brothers for joining me in this solemn ceremony.
The Jesuits are each holding three foot candles, made from wax produced in California communes by contented bees.
Pope Francis:
Theodore Geisel, late writer and artist of the United States of America, has been found guilty of offending people on racial grounds.
These are the sins of racism and badthink.
In that the late Theodore Geisel has rendered no act of contrition or repentance and is at the moment
at liberty in the next world, we do here and now separate him from the precious body and blood
of Christ and from the society of all Christians.
We exclude him from our Holy Mother Church
and all her sacraments in heaven or on Earth.
We declare him excommunicate and anathema.
We cast him into the outer darkness.
We judge him damned with the devil and his fallen angels and all the reprobate to eternal fire and everlasting pain.
(all) So be it.
The Jesuits extinguish their candles and cast them to the ground.
Exit all to the strains of Yahweh’s People Dance for Joy.
Now, instead of asking ‘what would Jesus do?’, the question is ‘what would “Pope” Francis do?’. Or more bluntly what would the devil do?
When the whole Society of Jesus is being lampooned because of a misguided few, be they plenty mind you, I cringe. There have been great S.J.’s in the ranks. Father John Hardon [RIP] to name but one.
Good and Holy men.
It’s too bad a few must muddy the whole.
Have a blessed day TAC.
God help all of us on this journey.
Don Ignatius is rattling his saber in Heaven.
Meanwhile somewhere the late Dr Seuss is saying “you ninnies, I never was a Christian. So it’s like trying to impeach a man who is no longer president”
In 1997, while steeped in sin, I met Fr. John Hardon at a retreat in the Detroit diocese. I don’t recall the parish name. I do recall the impact that Fr. Hardon had on me. The Miraculous medal he gave me was a great start to my reversion.
I hold him in my debt.
As I do to my deceased parents who never stopped praying for me.

George H.,
Thank you! I have passed the link on. Wish we had more impassioned homilies re the current occupant of the W.H. This brave priest could use our prayers.
Leftists are in the habit of speaking the language of the righteous but acting the acts of the damned. Nothing they say and do makes sense. Discordant. Until you realize the deception is a feature, not a bug. After all, doesn’t Satan come disguised as an “Angel of light”?
And so, Dr. Seuss. Why did they choose Theodore Geisel, of all people to start their book burning pogroms – gentle soul, American icon, purveyor of simple, crucial moral messages aimed at children in poetry that makes a child smile and understand?
Tucker Carlson explained it perfectly. It is not that Dr. Seuss is racist, it is that he is anti-racist. Crucially, Dr. Seuss targets our children with these classic moral tales and … our children belong to the leftist hive. So, he is their greatest enemy because he is so effective at the level of a child.
Seuss’ The Sneetches show simply and profoundly how stupid racism is and how dumb it is to attach caste to a superficial thing (a star/skin color). The Sneetch star is racist when one side says it’s important but also racist when the other side identifies the star’s absence as important. Both are wrong, both are “racists”.
And that’s Theodore’s simple message: see the Sneetch beneath and not what he’s wearing on his chest (or not). The Dr. Seuss message of seeing the person and not their “badge” cuts to the CRT leftists’ quick, I think, and makes their conscience suffer. And that is why he must be cancelled.
