Path to the Current Reich Enabling Act

After Lenin toppled the Kerensky government in 1917, the Bolsheviks were briefly in coalition with other left wing parties, and Isaac Steinberg, an Anarchist, was Commissar of Justice.  When he protested the summary executions ordered by Lenin, Lenin waved off his objections that these were unjust:

He resented my opposition in the name of revolutionary justice.  So I called out in exasperation:  “Then why do we bother with a Commissariat of Justice?  Let’s call it frankly the Commissariat for Social Extermination and be done with it.”  Lenin’s face suddenly brightened and he replied, “Well put…that’s exactly what it should be…but we can’t say that.”

The Democrats are doing their worst to label anyone who doesn’t agree with them as a “domestic terrorist”:

Introduced by Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) S.894 “The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act” is a companion bill to House bill H.R. 1931 sponsored by Representative Bradley Schneider (D-Ill.). A version of that bill in the previous congress raised Republican ire after Democrats refused to accept any amendments that made reference to Antifa and left-wing terrorism.

The bill includes a long list of findings that reference terrorist acts allegedly committed by white supremacists or other “far-right” actors. It includes no reference to any other threats.

The legislation would create “domestic terrorism” units or offices in the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI as well as a domestic terrorism “executive committee” within the Department of Justice for coordination.

The legislation directs federal law enforcement and intelligence almost solely against perceived “far-right” threats, as the bill declares “far-right-wing extremists are the most significant domestic terrorism threat facing the United States” and then directs law enforcement to use “limited resources” only against the most “significant domestic terrorism threats.”

Currently the FBI does not classify terrorism as “far-right” or “far-left” but has categories such as “racially-motivated violent extremist” which includes both white supremacist and black-identity or black separatist ideologies. Similarly, an “anti-government” classification technically includes both militia groups commonly considered far-right as well as Antifa or other left-wing anarcho-Communist threats.

This attempt to cement a partisan bias into U.S. government terrorism doctrine is deeply worrisome.

Go here to read the rest.  If they are not intentionally trying to bring on American Revolution II or Civil War II, the Democrats in Congress are fools indeed.

Was 2020 a record year for gun sales? Twenty million [that they know about] guns sold?

While visions of concentration camps danced in their heads;

They are not wrong.

We are the gravest threat to their anti-Christian, totalitarian scheme.

Operations security, men.

We are followers and disciples of Jesus. Humble and obedient please God.
The demons are cast out by prayer and fasting. Our help comes in the Holy Name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth
I am fasting on bread and water today and writing and communicating obedience and faith in my own small circles of influence

If all this doesn’t focus our attention on the attainment of eternal life I can’t imagine what it would be. Unfortunately most folks will be blind to what’s happening with lots of it intentional.

I once spoke with a friend who was 13 at the time of the Iranian Revolution. She said that few expected a revolution, but then after a movie theater fire the country fell into anarchy. She was lucky to escape and her mother, who had a latter flight, was arrested at the airport and executed. My friend said that after the relocation the regime executed hundreds daily until the country was driven into the Middle Ages.

I am becoming more pessimistic that our government can continue as it is considering what is happening. While praying we must also plan and make ourselves, communities and states more resilient. Since Biden is prone to blunders and will likely become even more unpopular and, if used wisely, time may be on the side of conservatives

Any thoughts of the possibility that Conservatives could take the house in 2 years then impeach Biden and Harris making the majority speaker of the house (Republican) President. This would likely trigger threats from Blue States seceding which may be beneficial for conservatives.

Patrick59, it doesn’t work that way. Impeach the President, the Vice President takes over and appoints a new Vice President, most probably of the same political party and mindset. The only way for the Third-in-line successor to take the reins would be if both the President and VP were either killed or disabled in one fell stroke.

The kleptomaniacal idiocrats/China stooges stole the 2020 elections and are about to seize total control of America and cancel the Constitution.

I fear that most of us who would gladly fight said Revolution II are too old to make it much past our mailboxes.

I am forced to wonder, if things get, um, interesting, whether foreign countries (could be China, Canada, England, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia) would choose to get involved in some capacity. Or if they would say “Oh, Hell, no! Ain’t doing that. Noooooo.)

The Democratic Socialists will invite them in for “peace keeping” and for the “liberation” of suppressed States.

BTW, AOCs banging on the table is a nice touch. It reminds me of Nikita Khrushchev.

chilling news on the academic front: Caltech–remove name of Robert Millikan from buildings, endowed chair, etc.(reason: participated in organizations advocating eugenics); Harvard School of Government–petition to remove degrees of Trump supporters saying election is fraudulent–Cruz, Crenshaw, McEnany, and others. I’ve written to the alumni associations of each cancelling my memberships. What is this country coming to??? Are the lunatics running the madhouse?

PS: Millikan, famed physicist early 20th century, brought fame to Caltech: measured the charge/mass ratio of the electron by the oil drop experiment, won the Nobel prize.

Again, liberal discourse had degenerated into status games, always and everywhere. Which means they are indifferent to actual accomplishment.

As for what’s next, I’m not sure, other than the country’s political predicament cannot be resolved through legal means. That does not necessarily mean bloody and disorderly means. My hope would be that state and county legislatures pass a resolution of secession, and that attempts by the central government to forcibly suppress it meet with non-compliance from the eagles on down. That is, our own color revolution. The disconnected urban knots which so despise the rest of us can then negotiate terms of separation.
