At the risk of being repetitive, I think it’s worth considering that a Col. Vindman in the bureaucracy is stoking Pelosi and Schumer in fear of Trump ordering declassifications and issuing pardons. Pelosi could be promoting insuburdination in the military as an avenue to preventing the declassifications. Then again, it could just be for show. I doubt Schumer or Pelosi have an ounce of public-spiritedness.

Did you catch how Betsy deVos couldn’t be bothered either to read Trump’s speech or have one of her staff read it and highlight, and just relies on media reports that he ‘incited’ the rioters? There isn’t a lot of there there with some of our public officials.

“Did you catch how Betsy deVos couldn’t be bothered either to read Trump’s speech or have one of her staff read it and highlight, and just relies on media reports that he ‘incited’ the rioters?” I read her letter and her concern for the school children. Paleeze!
By jumping on that bandwagon DeVos is probably hoping that positions on corporate boards will still be offered to her. Guess she needs the pin money.
Pelosi is playing a very dangerous game that will backfire. The Speaker was in high drama mode when she announced she had asked the JCS Chairman to remove Trump’s access to nuclear codes.
Rumors are out there about Mattis doing some stoking among the military brass.
It really is tiresome for former intelligence types, retired generals and admirals to voice their Trump derangement syndrome in the press. I’m not aware that an active duty senior has done that, but if so, it’s time for he or she to send in his/her request for retirement..
“Serve at the pleasure of the commander in chief” and “defend the Constitution” crucial phrases in the oaths they took. which they seem to have forgotten.
