It seems to me the entire point of this modernist creche display is alienation and despair in
the world and in the Vatican. Though certainly not intended this is our present truth on
full display. Or more precisely how the devil has taken control of the Church.
I didn’t realize that Hallmark Inc. had operations in Vatican City. What a time saver for the committee.

We lost our nativity scene when “The Dam Broke 2020.” It had been pieced together over several decades. Some pieces may have been close to 70 years old.

Not wanting to purchase an elaborate display (God helped us down size and I am going to go with it), we stopped by a local shop with goods made from Haiti and purchased a flat metal nativity scene that could be hung on a wall. It sits in the entry way.

Our sports club put out a perfect little nativity scene. They’ve never done that before.
It’s scarier when you consider that things could be much worse when one of our current cardinals is chosen as Francis’s replacement.

Since it’s opening in 2006, the management of our house has prided itself on it’s Secularism during Holidays…Not Holy days mind you. Now…with Covid 19…a new mindset is being entertained. The Divine. Go figure.
