Not seeing anything…
It showed up after I commented.
News on the radio reported on this with: “All of these ballots had been segregated in every county anyway, since those are the rules, so it is bizarre that such an order would be made. Justice Alito may be pandering to his Republican Base.”
Media delenda est.
Don, does the attorney in you stil think Trump will probably fail in his attempt to prove fraud and thus the projected Biden win will stand?
Probably, although given enough provable evidence in court I might change my mind. It would take someone high up in the conspiracy to flip, and I am sure there was an extensive conspiracy to steal the election.
“It would take someone high up in the conspiracy to flip.”
Sadly, I don’t see that happening. That leads to what should be the next obvious question, what kind of concession will Trump make if, or more likely, when it comes to that? A concession under protest. I don’t see Trump being nice about it. Nor should he be.
I expect an “I’ll be back speech” from Trump rather than a concession speech and he will proclaim himself leader of resistance to Biden/Harris. I think Trump will have a lot of fun doing this in the next four years.
An “I’ll be back” type speech sounds about right. However, we must consider he’ll be 78 (which is Biden’s age now) and he will likely have challengers from the GOP, which given his age and other factors may prove to be more formidable than 2016. Or he can be a powerful kingmaker for 2024. But I would love to see him square off against President Harris.
Trafalger Group pollster predicted Trump would win Pennsylvania but fall victim to fraud. At least pollster preserved his credibility.
The Republican Party has been at war with or undermining Trump’s
Presidency since his inauguration. Delaying the release of documents, slow walking investigations, protecting treasonous government agents, and going along with an impeachment that was known to be fraudulent. While the Democrats have been stabbing him in the chest the Republicans have been stabbing him in the back.
Perhaps it is time to invite true conservatives like the Freedom Caucus to help build a new political party. This may also be an opportunity to start pealing away some from groups that have been exploited by the Democratic Party.
If forced out off office and planning to start an independent party President Trump should fire The FBI director, The attorney general, secretary of defense and start releasing investigations and documents. Also appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Biden Family corruption. It would also help to have transparency of Congress for all political donations and nondisclosure settlements for sexual harassment.
The next election in 2 years may give some insight about the prospect of forming a party that is free from shady deep state alliances. I have no doubt that Trump would win against any Republican in 4 years, but does he want to be the leader of a corrupt party that has divided loyalty.
Praying someone is on their way to Damascus…
Breaking my self imposed silence because this comment is to me so infuriatingly, rage-inducing, scream out loud stupid that I can’t help myself:
Yeah. I’m sure the deep state nomenklatura appatchiks that gelded Barr will get right on declassifying all that stuff because it would never occur to them to just ignore Trump until Biden orders it reclassified.
Also, who’s going to make Wray, (or Barr or the Sec Def) leave if he, (they) doesn’t want to? Furthermore, why would you think the deep state nomenklatura appatchik who would replace him (them) would be any better? President Trump is the Pope Benedict of Presidents: his authority ends at the oval office door.
As for a special prosecutor? Biden fires him after the inaugural lunch.
Look, I’m not saying you are stupid, (and I kind of feel like a jerk for jumping up and down on your comment). I’ve considered these same ideas myself, but they don’t get us what we want, unless what we want is to show how impotent we are, so there’s no point in acting on them.
For the time being, the proggs have won. And right now, there’s not a damn thing we can do about it. (Other than prayer. You’re follow on comment is right on the money.) At least not until they screw the pooch so badly that no amount of gas-lighting, astro-turfing, rioting or widespread systematic voter fraud can save them.
Of course, by that point, we’ll look like a Dr. Moreau hybrid of Venezuela and 1930s Spain. With Nukes. And 2nd rate powers (China, Russia) who think they’re destined to supplant us as the global hyper power (and maybe they are), and whom I doubt are content to wait patiently on the sideline while we sort our crap out before resuming The Great Game.
I had a conversation about the election with my mother a week ago. I was feeling pretty confident about Trump’s chances (and I was right, I just never imagined either the extent or the blatantness of the voter fraud, or the media’s craven willfulness in participating in it –prostitutes and hitmen have more self-respect) she was much more (rightly so) doubtful. But then she said “God’s not done with United States.”
To which I said, “unless he is. 66 million abortions. Not even the Canaanites racked up a record like that.”
I think God’s done with us. We fulfilled our historical purpose in the Divine Plan when we defeated the Soviet Union. But not before the cancer of cultural marxism (very broadly speaking here –the sexual revolution, Feminism, Homosexualism, Transgenderism, all the identity politics b.s. are, as Allen Bloom pointed out in 1986 (before Transgenderism was even a thing!), bastard forms of Marxism) invaded our body-politic. It’s had forty years, almost, to metastasize. Now we’re cancer ridden and dying.
I don’t know what comes next. Remission? Perhaps. I certainly hope so, for my children’s; sake. What I do know is the Idea of the United States of America, like the Idea of the Imperium Romanum will long outlast the reality on the ground. Because people need a conceptual framework around which to structure their lives.
But don’t kid yourselves. Theodoric the Ostrogoth was wearing the (Western) Roman Empire like a skinsuit demanding respect (as the quip goes), and in his own way, he deserved the respect he received. Later, that skin suit was valuable enough that Karl, the son of Pippin sought it out, and the Pope bestowed it upon him. But it was still a skinsuit. And the ideal, as Charlemagne and his successors understood it had nothing to do with the reality of imperium as it was understood when Odovacer returned the regalia (i.e. the symbols of imperial office) to Constantinople in 476.
We had a good run. Better than most republics.
Going back down my rabbit hole now.
And now I see I’m so blind mad that I think Patrick59 and MikeS are the same person.
Apologies to both of you. I should have stuck to my intention to keep my stupid mouth shut for the weekend at least. Says something about my resolve. Nothing good.
Ernst Schreiber.
God will not abandon us.
We as a nation have turned our back to Him, it’s true. Abortion has it’s consequences.
I’m trying to count blessings at this point. The Lord see’s all.
It is His land.
His people.
His timing……………
Douay-Rheims Bible
“Revenge is mine, and I will repay them in due time, that their foot may slide: the day of destruction is at hand, and the time makes haste to come.”
Peace is the great gift He bestows on us, the unworthy. He freely gives it.
Let’s thank Him and walk upright with the knowledge that He knows what He is about.
It may rain or it may be perfectly sunny. His Peace prepares us for all sorts of weather.
We are His possession.
He loves us.

Ernst, recall this statement by John Brown to his family as he waited to be executed: I cannot remember a night so dark as to have hindered the coming day: nor a storm so furious or dreadful as to prevent the return of warm sunshine and a cloudless sky.
Always a true observation, especially in regard to American politics.

These are difficult times for all of us. I was feeling bad a few weeks ago and discovered that I was having palpitations from high blood pressure. I was monitoring it weekly when shopping with my wife at Publix. Unfortunately because of COVID the blood pressure machine was secured and by pressure crept up unexpectedly. Anyway I’m feeling better since increasing my blood pressure medications but my points is that stress can have dangerous effects. We all need to take care of ourselves and each other to carry on with the upcoming fights.
I think we are all trying to figure out how to respond to this Covid disaster, its exploitation by the Democrats Party for political gain and now a stolen election.
The media has distorted and compressed events but how much of this is illusion verse reality. Although the media wants to be a praetorian guard for the Democratic Party, elections are determined by the rules of our constitution. I remind myself that our Constitution was written by lawyers, perhaps lawyers and judges will save it.
I think the majority of Trump supporters are very angry but waiting to see how this will play out. My hope is that the Democratic Party has dangerously overextended and exposed itself. There also seems to be a civil war within the Democratic Party with the socialist wing driving away anyone that fails to sufficiently embrace its radical ideology.
The points that I was tying to make was that I have lost confidence with the Republican Party. When they could have helped our president they didn’t and when we need help will they likewise fail us. Although I understand that historically third parties have failed and sometimes have caused considerable damage., these are unique times and I’m prepared to abandon the Republican Party and support Trump should he decide to build and lead an independent party.
I recall a section from “Clausewitz on War” where he writes that war begins with an initial violent shock but then evolves into an attrition phase. He then describes the trails of fortitude being the ability to absorb shocks of the initial phase and persevere through the attrition phase.
I’m always seeking suggestions about how I can help in this struggle to save our nation. So far I have become more involved in local politics and for the first time even donated money to a politician. Perhaps the principle of Subsidiarity will help defend against federal overreach by executive actions.
I have also written my congressman suggestion election law reform such as holding the results of a state’s election result until all counting has been completed and certified by state authorities.
@Patrick59, Amen, especially this:
“I think the majority of Trump supporters are very angry but waiting to see how this will play out. My hope is that the Democratic Party has dangerously overextended and exposed itself. There also seems to be a civil war within the Democratic Party with the socialist wing driving away anyone that fails to sufficiently embrace its radical ideology.”
That also is my hope, however faint at the moment.
But we should exhort our friends and family (where possible) not to be further gaslighted by the media criminals who have been largely responsible for this travesty. As you point out and as Foxfier pointed out in a different thread here, the media do not certify the winners of elections. The Constitution must be followed. We’re not done yet, and even if we end up with a demented puppet being inaugurated as President, followed shortly under Amendment 25 by a woman who couldn’t even survive as a candidate within her own party until the first Democrat primary, it still won’t be the end, yet.
In the meantime, keep praying for both the Presidency and the Senate. The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles are recommending family Rosaries and consecration to the Immaculate Heart; this is copied from the email they sent out to supporters yesterday:
“On this First Saturday, or as soon as possible, let all heads of households Consecrate themselves and our Nation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; all others present need only say the ejaculation “Jesus, Mary, I trust in you,” and then follow the Solemn act with the recitation of the Rosary.
As the Angel of Peace told the children at Fatima, "The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplication." May their Hearts grant us peace, and bless and strengthen each one of us.
In the Heart of Mary,
Mother Cecilia, abbess
A Solemn Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Venerable Pope Pius XII
Most Holy Virgin Mary, tender Mother of men, to fulfill the desires of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the request of the Vicar of Your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves and our families to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and we recommend to You, all the people of our country and all the world.
Please accept our consecration, dearest Mother, and use us as You wish to accomplish Your designs in the world.
O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of
Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and Queen of the World, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, Our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism; kindle in our hearts and homes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray the Rosary more faithfully.
We come with confidence to You, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has inflamed Your own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes Your shrine, and through us, make the Heart of Jesus, together with your rule, triumph in every heart and home. Amen.
Don, sorry about that strange looking insert in the quotation I tried to paste from the Benedictine Sisters’ email. Not sure how I managed to do that. 🙂

You, a lawyer, if anyone is aware that a court will not enact in the absence of persuasive evidence. Given this, how do you see the uniform refusal of courts, both state and federal, to act on trumpite fraud claims?
In regard to the obvious Bidenite theft, I think the Supreme Court will order that in Pennsylvania all ballots received after 8:00 PM on election day will not be counted. What else the US Supreme Court and the State Supreme Courts will do will be depend upon the evidence proffered and the partisan makeup of each court.
