As a former Bubblehead in the finest part of the US military – the US Naval Submarine Force – I feel certain that this post would be of interest to me. Sadly, the aircraft carrier meme is not visible when the post is selected from the TAC web site, neither in Chrome nor in Firefox nor in Microsoft Edge, and neither on laptop PC nor on Android cell phone. I’ll just remind our beloved host and historian: there are Marines and there are Submariners, and while we Submariners may go lower and deeper than anyone else, we give new meaning to the phrase “death from below.” 😉 😉 😉
Ha! Meme became visible. Truth!
Really cool photo.
The best part?
It’s on the official US Navy twitter. Which caused the Bee to retract their retraction after being fact checked by USA Today.
https://notthebee.com/article/babylon-bee-retracts-retraction-on-moon-navy-article-after-us-navy-confirms-usa-today-factcheck-is-false
The most epic thread in recent memory. John Huston himself could not have scripted better timing.
Cheese is still coming from the moon mines…..right? I mean that hasn’t been proven false….right.
Has it?
Please tell me that hasn’t changed.
Maybe USA Today can confirm it.
Interesting timing. According to an article on Fr Z’s website October 27 was Navy Day. He also said that the birthday of the Navy was October 13. It shares this date with the last Fatima apparition.
The first alcohol-related incident on the moon will occur in 3-2-1.
Well, the moon does produce a lot of moon shine.
You give a sailor access to alcohol and it’s Katy don’t even bother barring the door because it won’t do any good.
