Where did the picture go?
Oh, I don’t doubt that Vox and other like-minded presstitutes will say their side is winning, no matter what. But what worries me about this election is that
A). In 2016 they were convinced they had it in the bag. They were complacent. They know they cannot repeat that mistake.
B). They’ve shown us they’ll say and do anything to achieve their goal. Voter fraud, disinformation, rioting— the only thing they haven’t resorted to is assassination.
Yet.
Many of them think they have it in the bag now. Hillary Clinton had a hard core of support from feminists and the Clinton Crazies she inherited from Bill. Biden has zip enthusiasm. I have seen quite a few poll internals and the enthusiasm gap with Trump is off the charts. I actually think Clinton was a much tougher opponent than Dead Joe Walking. We shall see. The Left in this country has an increasing penchant for political violence. They need to be stopped soon. The Democrats have played a very dangerous game in winking at this violence. First, because it always turns against everyone ultimately, and, second, any group can play this very dirty game and the Left is not composed of the groups in our society likely to be the most efficient in dispensing violence.
One thing that I find interesting is that the narrative is always that President Trump’s support is “imploding.” That is, that he may have been fine up to this moment, but now he’s going to fail.
That even goes back to the 2016 season. (There’s no way that he’ll win a single delegate, there’s no way that he’ll come first in a state, there’s no way that he’ll get above 30%, or 40% or 50%, etc.)
But if he has been constantly losing support for over four years, he wouldn’t be “imploding” now. He would not have any support left. The narrative is only there to help pretend that things will be better in the future for the left while making the smallest of concessions to reality.
The Left fears Trump because like Reagan he has the ability to draw Democrats, Independents and people alienated from politics. His massive rallies are the tips of an expanding iceberg.
The most interesting part of the debate was Trump saying that Roe was in no danger of being overturned.
Second time you’ve attempted to peddle that lie Katherine. I will repeat my answer:
“That is not what he said Katherine. He said that there was no case before the Court right now directly challenging Roe, which is correct. That took a bit of the wind out of the sails of Biden’s attempt to float into the White House on the blood of unborn children.”
Go peddle your astro-turfed Catholics For Biden nonsense to a more gullible audience.
There’s a 10th planet at work in trying to explain the reaction of the permanent government to Trump. He’s made some policy adjustments – a more pugnacious stance in trade negotiations, efforts toward enforcing the immigration laws, some amendment to tactics in dealing with Russia in with actors in the Near East – but nothing approaching the riverboat gambles George W. Bush put into effect over the period running from Sept. 2001 to May of 2003. Yet, you have these characters like Lt. Col. Vindman who fancy he should be impeached for disregarding the conclusions of ‘The Interagency’ and Democrats in Congress (as well as Mitt Romney) pretending this is reasonable (while more likely motivated by the imperative of pretending a Biden family scandal was something other than what it was).
As for the Democratic Party, it’s a degenerate ruin from top to bottom, but that doesn’t seem to bother 1/2 the electorate.
Has purple robot Katherine ever showed up and not pushed a leftist talking point?
Looking through old posts the majority of them even contain a link to a “Catholics for Biden” blog.
And speaking of old posts, Katherine you never responded to my request here.
Maybe now you can denounce Biden for his support for baby murder.
Overturning Roe is a means not an end anyways.
A speaking of Groundhog Day, I’m getting polled for the second election in a row by some firm doing an Iowa poll.
How about individual Bishops stating that to vote for Biden is an act under pain of mortal sin. If this supporter of baby murder is elected by carrying a majority of Catholic voters, the failure to do this makes the Bishop culpable along with the voter. Despite an erosion of moral authority, the Bishops retain enough to put an end to this evil man’s longstanding ambition.
JRP, you are absolutely right. I remain hopeful, perhaps gullibly so, that at least one US bishop will break from the USCCB herd and make that statement. But the fact that doing so might actually hurt Biden enough to ensure his defeat is probably the exact reason why it will not happen.
