Outstanding review of exorcism by Fr. Malachi Martin. Well worth the time.
When I saw mention of former father Malachi I clicked through to mention that between him and Fr. Gabriele Amorth, they probably did more effective outreach than anybody since Sheen, and possibly Mother Angelica.
Folks who would’ve sprinted in the opposite direction from anything even a little religious got some useful information that could set them straight. (Obviously, I favor Amorath, but he wouldn’t have been invited without Martin.)
I wish there were actual Satanists in the Vatican– kind of like how I wish we were fighting Nazis in our own country. It would be so much nicer to deal with folks who have a stated ideology that matches what they do and promote rather than, for example, declaring that they are for protecting innocent life but they place disarming the innocent above legal protection of the unborn, or who say we should be accepting but promote killing those with unsightly disabilities.
