I will have to hand it to the Left for their ability to weaponize the criminal justice system against their political foes. The latest example is the Wall case:
Barnes, whose expertise is highly sought after both in the legal realm and in the world of independent media, breaks down why the Southern District of New York (SDNY) is wrong to charge Bannon, Brian Kolfage, and Andrew Badolato with wire fraud, which would essentially set the precedent that “you could indict 90 percent of charities in America. You could indict every single political campaign in America.” The case is especially spurious considering that We Build the Wall actually did build a portion of Wall on the southern border and was only getting started in its efforts to build more.

The Southern District of New York is now attempting to gag the Defendants from discussing the case. Sadly courts often do enter such orders even though they blatantly fly in the face of freedom of speech. The prosecution however will find that it is far easier to suppress the freedom of speech of the Defendants than it is to convict them,
This will only result in even more discussion of the case and lend credence that it is entirely political as a set-up for a Communist type show trial.
The advantage of always being accused of doing everything you do for purely partisan political reasons is, when you finally decide to do something for naked partisan advantage, there’s nothing new about the accusation.
Democrats might want to ponder that.
But they won’t.
