Biden Chooses Willie Brown’s Former Mistress as Veep

Began her career as Willie Brown’s, then Speaker of the California General Assembly, mistress.  Not stupid and highly driven.  Her one true God is political expediency.  Raked Biden over the coals during the Democrat debate, admittedly an easy thing to do.  Demonstrated little power to attract votes during her run.  Makes the obnoxious Duckworth look like a people person.  Pretends that she came straight from the hood but her background is rather privileged.  Half Jamaican, with some slave owners in her ancestry, and half Indian (subcontinent).  Mother dead, estranged from her father Donald Harris, an Emeritus Professor of Economics at Stanford.

In 2010 she managed the feat of almost losing the Attorney General race to her Republican opponent.  Elected to the Senate in 2016, and promptly began to run for President.  Congealed  ambition.  Views membership in The Knights of Columbus as a disqualifying factor for being a Federal judge.

She keeps Biden’s pledge to run with “a woman of color” but that seems to be all she brings to the ticket.  The fact that she prided herself on being tough on crime as a prosecutor and Attorney General will cause problems with Black Lives Matter.  That she is married to a white man will not go over well with the separatist wing of radical blacks.  She of course will come under much more scrutiny than is usual for a Veep nominee since it is generally assumed that Biden will not make it through a full term, or perhaps a full year, as President.

My own contemporaries when we were young more often than not voted Republican and even in rarefied venues had practical objects. After a particularly ugly episode at my employer in 2002, I thought when my contemporaries were in charge of institutions, some of the asininity in this world would be jettisoned. Well, here we are, and who is on top but Adam Schiff, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, the corporate leadership tripping all over itself to pass cash to obnoxious racial chauvinists, and the personnel office karenwaffe who see to it that anyone who objects to the political propaganda shoved down their throat gets the axe.

As for what’s going on in Seattle, I’d say let the dead bury the dead, but my sister owns property there which I’m going to guess could have been sold six months ago for twice what it would fetch today.

Did you catch the the odious district attorney in St. Louis City will be returned to office (just like the odious state’s attorney in Baltimore)?

Did you catch that Rancida Taliban won her primary against a black challenger in a black majority district? Or that the primary contest in a white majority district pits a gruesome Somali immigrant against a black lawyer who knows nothing of law enforcement but fancies people like him should be second-guessing everything police officers do. I’m beginning to thing that the Democratic electorate is motivated by the same impulse which stands behind vandalism. Pick up a rock and throw it through a window and never mind why. This should generate revulsion among swing voters, but they do not seem to be reacting at all.

Have you noticed the amount of public sector borrowing going on? A crisis in the bond market is going to be just Georgia peachy keen.

Too woke to ease the fears of independents and old school democrats.

Too connected to the cops to be acceptable to the woke left.

About the fairest thing you can say, is she is, from the campaign’s perspective, the least bad choice, given their (self-imposed) limitations.

About the nicest thing you can say is “how bad is it for the Biden camp that Harris is the best they thought they could do.

Things descend rapidly into sins against charity after that.

Before she won her Senate seat, Harris was California AG. While running for Senate, her office was prosecuting pro-life activist David Daleidin for posting videos he’d taken of Planned Parenthood officials admitting to ‘harvesting’ and selling infants’ body parts, among other things.

While her office was prosecuting Mr. Daleidin, Harris was openly accepting large sums of campaign $$$ from Planned Parenthood.

Harris had worked with PP lawyers to craft the law which was used to target Daleidin, as his videos were still posted after the law was passed.

I suppose it’s not technically illegal for Harris to have accepted the campaign cash from PP while her office was prosecuting the case against Mr. Daleidin, since it was the state and not PP that was plaintiff, but it was certainly unethical. And it’s that sort of unethical behavior we can expect from her in the future. Political expediency is her god.

Reasonable people need to face a reality for which I have no solution (unless one peacefully resurrects the verboten idea of secession). These parts of the nation undergoing riots and looting would re-elect the same public officials they now have (already happening). Those fleeing these areas bring their leftist radical voting habits with them thus infecting the remaining sane parts of the nation. President Trump holds the hope of at least a reprieve from the madness, but one which is probably temporary at best. My one great solace was in the Church, but reality tell one that almost all in authority advance ideas that would be considered as heresy or apostasy as little as fifty years ago. As a blog I respect, any advice, criticism welcomed, for a disenchanted old man.

J. Ronald, I share your concerns and I’m sure very many others do as well. With God, we can always be hopeful. I’m realizing the great power in prayer.

There are times it seems that there is little we can do. But that’s false. God is here in our midst. Our prayers are always efficacious. I’m resolved to pray for every situation and circumstance, and every person that causes me any amount of angst. The key for us I think, is to trust God. Not my own opinions or thoughts on how things should be or how they should turn out. Not political leaders, of whatever party or ideology. But to truly seek to allow HIs will to be my own. And to trust in Him, come what may. The peace of Christ will follow.

I do believe Harris is the most venal. unscrupulous, not-too-smart, nakedly ambitious, foul-mouthed, disgusting VP candidate in US history.

According to Tucker Carlson, even Brown himself opposed Harris being Joe’s Veep. I guess he didn’t think the sex was all that good.

Picking Harris for VP is giving the bird to America saying what low regard they have for voter intelligence.

They did it to Palin. Harris is open season.

All above good comments.

A corrupt prosecutor, this highlights China Joe’s deficiency in judgment.

And, China Joe is responsible for mass incarceration.

As (least worst of the worst) Tulsi Gabbard pointed out, then California attorney general, Harris was responsible for putting “over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.”

Harris’ office also blocked DNA evidence that could have freed a man who may be innocent. And what’s more, as Gabbard said, “She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California. And she fought to keep (the) cash bail system in place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way.”

Massive mail-in in vote fraud and vote harvesting fraud.

If China Joe and ‘knee pads’ Harris win and the Senate swings, abandon all hope.

If you don’t have, it’s way too late to buy guns and bullets. They’re all sold out.

Harris gives my Boomer and pre-Boomer lady cousins the creeps. Since they’re the “we’re (ancestry), (religion) and Democrat” sorts that the Dems are already having issues keeping, this is kinda bad.

That argument cuts both ways, so unfortunately, it’s a wash.

It’s also irrelevant because we decided in the 90s that character doesn’t count.

Well, they decided that. Actually, what they decided on was perpetual rounds of Calvinball. Character counts when you’re talking about the Donald’s 1991 divorce; when it’s Shamala advancing her career by fellating Willie Brown, it doesn’t.

I think we need to start calling it Alinskyball.
