Taylor Caldwell wrote what might be my favorite book, Dear and Glorious Physician. In it, she has just a couple pages about the state of the Roman Empire at the time of St. Luke. She describes how republics begin with the manly virtues such as discipline and self sacrifice, and then devolve into democracies once the politicians realize they can maintain power through giving the money of one group to another. At that point, society has very different qualities. Those several pages could be ripped out from today’s headlines.
Mayberry, USA needs to plan and prepare for the post-modern barbarian invasions as starvation and violence push out of democrat hell holes like Baltimore, NYC, San Francisco, et al the crazies, criminals, imbeciles.
