Great War Week by Week

One of the best resources on the internet during the centennial of World War I has been the Great War series on YouTube.  I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the Great War, but I think it would be especially valuable to home schooling families.  Bravo to Indiana ‘Indy’ Neidell, the host of the series, and to all involved in this grand project.

I support Don providing another series on “recommended historical youtube.” I watched that Columbus video you posted (and that same channel’s video on the Oregan Trail) and enjoyed them.

I’ll definitely mark these for later listening.

there was this radio buff in chicago,,,chuck schaden who every week in the early 90’s did 3 hours of ww2 radio,,,,,,beginning with pearl harbor thru to vj day,it was called those were the days,,,,,the series was put on cassette tape and might be found on ebay or even youtube or his web site or the chicago museum of radio history……it gave you news, radio programs and music of the era,,,,,just as if you had lived it in live…from dec 41 thru aug of 45,,,,it was very epic,,,,i suppose the same thing could be done with ww1…..
