Further demonstration, if any were needed, of the presence of sheer evil in our fallen world:
A gunman opened fire inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs on Sunday, killing 26 people and wounding 20 others, authorities said.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called the attack the deadliest mass shooting in his state’s history. The youngest victim was 5 years old and the oldest was 72. Officials said 23 people were found dead inside the church, two outside, one died after being taken to a hospital.
The shooting suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley, federal law enforcement sources told CBS News.
Kelley is a former U.S. Air Force member who served from 2010 to 2014. He was dishonorably discharged and court martialed in May 2014, CBS News has learned.
On Sunday night, authorities only identified the suspect as a young white male. They said he was seen dressed in all black and tactical gear — including a “ballistic vest” — at a local gas station at 11:20 a.m. He then exited his vehicle, crossed the street and began firing an AR-15 style weapon at the church, officials said. The suspect entered the church and continued to fire.
As he exited the church, a local resident grabbed his gun and pursued the suspect, who dropped his weapon and fled the scene.

Believe nothing for now until we have more sound information, as a lot of this seems to be produced by conspiracy theorists from the basements of their mothers. More to follow as we learn more facts. I wonder if we are seeing outbreaks of demonic possession if not demonic attack.
Lord have mercy on the victims, their families, first responders and all law enforcement and medical personnel. As for the perpetrator, maybe now he is where he always wanted to be. That possibility makes me shudder.
It’s heartbreaking to think that in a such a small town as that, it
was something like 15% of the town’s entire population that was
in that church this Sunday. There’s likely no one in that town who
hasn’t lost a loved one since this morning.
I’m shocked and appalled by some of the heartless, grotesque things
I’ve read on twitter– and not only from anonymous nitwits, but from the
same public figures that just solemnly told us we mustn’t politicize the
recent New York attacks– yet here they are, making political hay from
the shootings in Texas because the killings were done with a gun and
not a truck. Amazing.

The satanic spirit is manifesting in these individuals, the shooters. The voices are strong in these individuals who are not in relationship with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. In trying to answer the “why(?),” imo, it is the only reasonable explanation that fits these insane acts of hate. Truly diabolical.
The shooter had not been indoctrinated to : “Thou shalt not kill”
It appears that hatred of God for having been brought into existence is the root of all malevolence. The individual has not yet been informed or discerned that unless he gave his free will consent to be brought into existence he would have become a miscarriage. So, it is through his own will to survive that he survives or his live will end in miscarriage and death. Reverence and respect for life begins with one’s own life and sovereignty over one’s own life. Had the shooter been pro-life, all people would be alive. We have the culture of death, the death peddlers, PLANNED PREDATOR AND ABORTIONIST to thank for this miscarriage of Justice.

The youngest victim has been identified as being 18 months old. One survivor said that the monster shot the babies as they cried.
