This election comes down to the fact most states scrapped their singular check on illegal ballots: the signature-match check on mail-in ballots. Most either watered down the method of making the signature-match check or didn’t really enforce it strictly at all. The net effect was millions of illegal ballots cast and counted across the nation, more than the margin of victory in each key swing state. The biggest remedy would be an independently-observed, signature-match-check process. Guess what every state officials refused to do, and is refusing to do? An independently-observed, signature-match-check process. The biggest hurdle for Trump is the likely cowardice of courts & Congress in making this simple remedy available or actionable. I am one of the lawyers working for the last week to try to make it happen, but the battle is still uphill. Whatever happens, I hope the world becomes more awakened for the need for election-process reform: return to paper ballots, scrap all voting machines, bar-track absentee ballot envelopes, require real signature matches, and utilize photo ID confirmation processes, with more transparency, observers, and court remedies for violations.

I’m thankful that Robert Barnes is digging into this. The previous article “Where We Are” about the legal acumen of the existing legal team was disconcerting. IIRC on one of his live streams with Viva Frei Barnes talked about white shoe lawyers, and their limitations to providing effective legal representation in certain kinds of cases.
