It takes courage to stand tall in a time of hysteria, but it is absolutely essential if one is to preserve self respect.

In each case, a manager insisted on a letter of resignation. This wouldn’t have happened 30 years ago because the staff in any institution would assume a complaint would be ignored and might get them canned. And, in fact, a congenial response from managers would have been ‘huh? none of your business. Get out of my office”. Question, how is it that the people in charge of our institutions are such hollow men?
You ever notice in stories about travesties, the name of the responsible party is never uttered? The municipal court judge who turned loose the man whose vandalism caused a train derailment is a blank. All the people who insisted these people resign, a blank. (We get that the times is run by the latest mediocrity from the Ochs clan, who is, if anything, worse than his father. His father generated the corporate culture that got you 36 stories on the Augusta National’s membership policies, press agentry on behalf of Michael Nifong, and Jayson Blair’s career).
Good video. And close to home for me. I was cancelled and denounced by one of my daughters (Seattle resident) for sending out a Prager U. My son Matthew supported her. After a lot of back and forth by e-mail which included 20 other members of my family, their childish reaction was to give donations to Biden, Planned Parenthood and an organization that supports women as Catholic priests. The actual cancellation came after I responded to my daughter and Matthew in no uncertain terms. Christ told us to expect this kind of thing so no surprise but lots of heartrending disappointment.
By the way Matthew will be on ABC-TV tonight commenting on the debate. I don’t plan tuning in.
Painful Michael, but Christ told us that He brought not peace but a sword and that families would be divided over Him.
I’m sorry, Michael.
Very interesting. First time I have read you. Thanks. P.C
