Hair salon, huh? With that underwhelming show of excessive force, I would have thought they were getting ready to take down a hopped up dancing stormtrooper….
At least the governor of Texas acted sensibly.
Yes, Gov. Abbott has been very good. But I am embarrassed that these clowns are actually Texas law enforcement officers. They were dispatched to break up a gathering at a tavern outside of Odessa, TX. The Sheriff claimed it was an unlawful gathering. The subjects claimed they were protesting the lockdown. I am not sure what was really happening, except that rolling a SWAT team in an armored vehicle manned by these caricatures was a very bad move. My guess is, the current Sheriff had best be polishing his resumè.
Several years ago was driving through Gettysburg to visit the battlefield. Driving through town got behind a truck that was hauling 2 MRAP’s through town. I though they might be National Guard or Army being moved somewhere. Had civilian police department markings. Quite the juxtaposition – Gettysburg and civilian MRAP’s
If the cops need MRAPs, I think I should have a Constitutional right to a TOW missile launcher.
Whew. Guess the-largest vests available were XXL…
