Saint of the Day Quote: Blessed Thomas of Tolentino
Donald R. McClarey
Mohammed was the son of perdition and had his place in Hell with the Devil his father.
The comment by Blessed Thomas of Tolentino, in response to a question as to what he thought of Mohammed, that led to his martyrdom.
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Blessed Thomas is correct today as he was when he said those words.
Islam is, at best a seventh century heresy and in practice is far worse.
It is sad that Blessed Thomas did not have the Winged Hussars or Charles Martel to back him up.

Islamophobic is thrown around to hush people up when we question their beliefs and practices. Mohammad married a pre-pubescent girl. Blessed Thomas reminds us where Mohammad’s final place rests and why.
