What a blessed cartoon.
In 1968, my best guess, I recall watching Bob Hope in Saigon surrounded by his boys. When they sang Silent Night the tears that rolled down the soldiers cheeks were joined by each and every viewer of that televised program. My childhood tears included.
Bob HOPE lived up to his name.
May God be with him.
Bob Hope, when Hollywood still had some classy people in it.
Off topic but too good not to share: Jordan Peterson’s wife Tammy has enrolled in RCIA and is on her way to becoming Catholic. It all started with a friend giving her a rosary:

Elaine Krewer.
Great story!
A hunch.
A time is coming for a Tsunami of graces.
It might come in response to a horrendous shake up that will grab everyone’s attention..but it will be greater than the event.
A tsunami of conversions.
Halloween is an especially scary time in Massachusetts this year, lots of blue zombies with signs to on their lawn. But I’m glad to report (in my area) the Overton Window has broken -Trump/Vance signs outnumber Zombie signs 2 to 1.
(Will MA go red? No, there aren’t enough black and brown, brothers and sisters to make that happen -yet. )
One of my late wife’s favorite movies. Especially that line about zombies.
I love this clip!
I wish someone could find the other one–from one of the Road movies–about Republicans: the boys are trying to land a fish, it keeps struggling, Crosby says, “It just won’t die,” and Hope says, “Must be a Republican.”
I wish somebody could find the other clip, the one about the Republicans. It’s from one of the Road movies. The boys are struggling to land a fish out at sea; it keeps struggling; Crosby says, “It just won’t die.” Hope says, “Must be a Republican.”
In one of the early Road pictures Bing and Bob are being put in jail. When Hope asks for how long, the jailer says until the Republicans win back the White House. Hope cries out, “Oh no! Life!”
