Just the other day there was an article in the NY Times about the disappearance of seesaws from playgrounds. It occurs to me that the “snowflakes” didn’t appear out of nowhere. They are the result of decades spent trying to make childhood safe and preserving kids’ self-esteem.
Hey, thanks a lot. I posted the video on my FB page–and I prefaced it with “TRIGGER WARNING!!!!”–and I traumatized a lot of my “friends.” But that’s okay–because I’m getting them the PERFECT Christmas gift: tickets to the inauguration!
