Too many people don’t read history anymore, they merely recycle congenial lies that have been transmitted by others for fools and knaves to bite on. Until Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan’s idea of a negotiated peace was that they would keep some of their foreign conquests, there would be no occupation and absolutely no trials of Japanese war criminals. If we had been foolish enough to accept such terms, we would have been fighting Japan again within 25 years. Instead we have had over eight decades of peace and Japan is free and a firm ally.

Post Vatican II Novus Ordo Katholycks (liberal progressive Democrats to be differentiated from orthodox conservative Catholics) cannot think clearly when it comes to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and when it comes to the current US policy and program strategic nuclear deterrence. They also invariably equate nuclear weapons (92+% enriched U-235 or Pu-239) with nuclear energy (< 20% enriched U-233, U-235, or Pu-239; U-233 not being used for nuclear weapons). They are completely ignorant of science and engineering. Dumb freaking idiots, the lot of them. And no matter how much you explain the facts to them step by step in simple childlike terms (and they’ll all agree to the correctness of each little step), when you come to the inevitable conclusion that the nukes dropped on Japan saved more lives than they took, and strategic nuclear deterrence has preserved our freedom for nigh unto 70 years, right there their obstinance kicks in and they return to post Vatican II Katholyck nonsense. Their hearts bleed for the enemies of mankind, but their minds condemn the defenders of freedom. I completely despise the Institutional Church of the USCCB and the currently liberal controlled Vatican because I love the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
