In 2025, when the new Pope was being announced from the balcony by Cardinal Mamberti, I remember having a brief flash of joy when His Eminence read out “Eminentissimum ac Reverendissimum Dominum, Dominum Robertum Franciscum, Sanctae Romanae Ecclesiae Cardinalem Prevost…. I had no idea who this Cardinal Prevost was, I just knew he wasn’t the Robert I’d been hoping for.
And now, here we are…

He was certainly my most preferred candidate. Pope Sarah indeed.
I prayed Cardinal Robert Sarah would be elected Pope; Holy Father. That is Holy Father.
