“and the sea shall give up its dead” Should be a comfort to all survivors of those who died on the oceans.
I visited Hawaii in 2004, and went to the Arizona monument at Pearl Harbour. There is a definite sense of awe & a seeming spiritual – can’t think of another word to describe it – presence there. I will never forget it.
What a beautiful request to be laid to rest with those with whom he served.
