LeoWatch: Chinese Bishops

Go here to read the story.  I would like to think this is being done with the secret connivance of Pope Leo, but I doubt this is the case.  He has given no evidence that he does not stand behind the Francis policy of tossing faithful Chinese Catholics to the Communist wolves.  The faithful Chinese are reacting in the face of persecution as faithful Catholics have always done, doing what they can to preserve the Faith.  It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the Vatican has to say about this.  I predict they will say nothing, until forced to do by the reaction of the Chinese Communist government.
