Go here to read the story. I would like to think this is being done with the secret connivance of Pope Leo, but I doubt this is the case. He has given no evidence that he does not stand behind the Francis policy of tossing faithful Chinese Catholics to the Communist wolves. The faithful Chinese are reacting in the face of persecution as faithful Catholics have always done, doing what they can to preserve the Faith. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the Vatican has to say about this. I predict they will say nothing, until forced to do by the reaction of the Chinese Communist government.

This could be fascinating. We already know the Bergoglio/Prevost regime gives not one whit for the faithful Chinese being persecuted by Commie-selected bishops. They have fully endorsed those CCP bishops through their still-secret agreement. Thus, to be even remotely consistent, either they must declare the underground Church in China to be “schismatic” like the SSPX, or renounce their no-doubt lucrative agreement with the Commies and admit that the CCP bishops themselves are schismatics.
Sadly, I suspect the Synodalist Modernist New Gay Church of the Neo-Protestant Synodal Synod will simply ignore this development, whistling past the gates of Hell as they seem to do nearly every day, now, about one thing or another, and declaring schism against anyone who points out that the Emperor has no clothes.
