The J6 debacle was used to attempt to crush any opposition to the Democrat party for many years. It was a trap and President Trump rushed into it. The part that the Courts played in this was despicable with a few honorable exceptions. The contrast to the treatment of the Black Live Matters rioters in Washington during the summer of 2020 couldn’t have been more stark. The next time someone solemnly intones that we are a nation of laws and not men, remember this and laugh in their face.

It is Men who make the laws, and enforce the laws, and (God willing) recognize God’s Law above all else.
A republic, if you can keep it.
We caught a sneak peak of Men who use law as a partisan weapon in the Biden years. Most were not sufficiently frightened by it because it was used on people they did not like.
Having the best laws, in the absence of Men willing to keep them, comprises most of the Old Testament – and much of history in general.
… And not one of our elected officials had the courage to say boo about it! Republican senators and congressmen sat silent covering their own butts while American patriots had their constitutional rights shredded.
Remember that they also tried to use this event to get Donald Trump removed from the 2024 ballot as an “insurrectionist.” Even though he didn’t even enter the capitol building and had earlier told people to go home.
If anyone wonders why Trump, the January 6 over the top reaction is one good example of why. Trump has often been attacked for ignoring political norms. Those norms were being cast out the window by Democrats before Trump came on the political scene. The reaction to Trump illustrates how little those norms matter when the Establishment feels under threat.

Unfortunately, the same DC US federal District judges that tried the non-violent J6’ers on these bogus charges are still in office. There should be calls for all of them to resign for their slanted , partisan, gross abuse of the application of law and even worse, the imposition of excessive Draconian sentences.
The Eighth Amendment against cruel and unusual punishment ought to have been invoked. Judges who ignore our Constitution must be recalled.
