And the Marxists are always funded by someone else who did the hard work so they are literally biting the hand that has fed them and feeds them. That makes them slaves to the Marxist in all stages. And you thought that they were against slavery.
Leftism, socialism, communism, liberalism, progressivism, etc. ad nauseam are violation against the Commandment, “Thou shalt not covet.” But with Orwellian mendacity, leftists make it seem as though those who desire to make an honest profit are the ones coveting. This is why we must take our language back and force them to see themselves as the kind of godless worthless individuals they are. They must be publicly called the baby-murderers, sodomy-sanctifiers, transgender child mutilators, and thieves and robbers of the public treasury because that’s what they are.
BTW, speaking of leftists, we recently hired a person at Neutrons ‘R Us to help us with certain things. I can’t tell you details in a public forum, but suffice it to say I discovered that he is a liberal Democrat Katholyck from Chicago (Pope Leo’s “native land”). He lasted four weeks and quit when he learned that due dates on responding to work assignments are not suggestions. You see, he had come (with all the alphabet soup of credentials after his name) from the US Dept of Energy which our President has rightly downsized. When this guy learned that in capitalism, you’re expected to produce on time and with high quality, he decided to bail out (Trump gutting US DOE and US NRC was an excellent thing). He had gotten one job assignment during those four weeks: an evaluation of a certain thing, which was horribly done. I had to re-write the whole evaluation. His credentials are as useless as his evaluation. Socialism is for lazy, incompetent good-for-nothings. These people know all the key words and tricky phrases, but they can’t produce and thus, they want to take from you and me what we produce.

I saw an article yesterday that said 51% of Americans thought capitalism “was working not too well or not at all well“.
I imagine incompetent 8 & 9 figure salaried CEOs with golden parachutes are a factor in this trend. Those people aren’t represented in your graphic.

As Simon Sebag Montefiore documents in his biography “Young Stalin”(2008), Lenin’s Communist Party meetings in England and France prior to WW1 were generously funded and saved from bankruptcy and the disintegration of the movement by successful businessman Joseph Fels (d.1914) (remember Fels Naptha soap?).

A positive attitude towards capitalism via our religious leaders would be helpful to clear up any misunderstandings about socialism/communism vs capitalism. Speak the truth Rome guys. Nothing kills like communism.

The wealth tax on the ballot in California is, one must wager, a frog-in-the-kettle measure on the order of the twee gun control measures Sarah Brady and her successors push. There’s no point to a one-time asset seizure except to settle debts incurred in a one-off event – say, the 2008-09 financial crisis or the COVID catastrophe. Wealthy people who see where this is going will leave the jurisdiction, to which the response will be an exit seizure. The exemption threshold will be lowered explicitly or lowered effectively by leaving it at a given nominal value as nominal incomes (and nominal assets) increase (you’ll recall that fifty-odd years ago there were only three billionaires in the United States – one an oil baron, one a shipbuilder, and one who had over a storied career made his fortune in tools, aircraft, motion pictures, and casinos). It will then be modified to be an annual assessment rather than a one-off.

Keep in mind the Democratic Party’s program consists of unregulated mass immigration, vote fraud, stupefying fiscal profligacy, criminalizing opposition, turning public institutions into sandboxes for malcontents, the use of the courts as a political weapon, building and protecting rent-a-mobs, the use of the schools and the media to trash our ancestors and deny their accomplishments, and the promotion of all manner of sexual perversity. There is not one element which is salutary. Mass seizures of property are just another manifestation of sheer malevolence.
