The murderous parents received a fair amount of support on Twitter. Killing the innocent for the sake of convenience always has its supporters as the Third Reich and Stalin’s rule in the Soviet Union demonstrated as do the pro-abort fanatics of our time.
The child has an immortal soul. The dog has a mortal soul. The child’s immortal soul will be with you for all eternity, and you will be with your child’s immortal soul for all eternity.
At the Fair, the Right to Life team was prohibited from using the term murder for abortion or be denied a place. One member slipped and said “murder” and they came after us. She hid and we said nothing.
The problem with abortion is that the government takes power over the sovereign personhood in the immortal human soul of the unborn and supposedly gives the born person sovereign personhood and citizenship. The government instituted by the consent of the governed cannot deny the unborn person the implicit baptism given them by Jesus Christ’s baptism in the Jordan.
Denying life, liberty and the pursuit of the Truth (Happiness) to the rational, immortal human soul of the unborn, a member of “We, the people…” and of our constitutional “Posterity”, is murder and genocide.

The combination of faulty logic, anger and name calling therein there shows you that he’s just another lost kid fumbling around this increasingly fallen world. (He even, probably unconsciously, does the FDR “little dog Falla” thing.)
Pray for them. Neither their secular worldview nor marriage on constant public display is up to the task of enduring the aftermath of such a bad decision without God’s grace.
It is jarring to see abortion on public display. In ordinary lives, you would not be able to see the incongruous moments of the joy over expecting a “baby” and the sorrow at terminating a “pregnancy.” Sooner or later, at latest at the Particular Judgement, the lie told to oneself in those irreconcilable terms will be realized. I pity anyone who has to face that music.
Go read it, and pray for them. The “hard decision” was the easy part, and just the beginning.

My first wife aborted our middle child because she wasn’t ready for another one so soon after the first. While I was opposed to what she did, I am utterly ashamed of my role in that affair. This guy Jesse Ridgeway has no idea of the enormous guilt that will now follow him for the remainder of his life. Murder. It’s murder! I know the punishment that I deserve. My AA sponsor told me to be grateful that God is merciful instead of giving me justice.
As the father of a 22yr old son born with Down syndrome, I can’t imagine life without him. The fact so many of his peers have been killed for the sake of comfort and convenience is an insult. They are the most loving people on earth. This influencer could have used his child’s influence to understand what life is all about. People and their stupid animals offend me.
