An inspiring story. Thank you for the post.

Im having a case of pareidolia. I see an image of Saint Padre Pio at the left ear of Fr. Beccari.

It’s funny how lense refraction, shadows or even clouds can harbor an image in the minds eye.

The imagination of the heart speaks volumes as I ponder the lives of those children, not doomed to the horrors of death camps and the practices within those camps.

God bless Father Beccari and all those who helped save those innocent children.

I see it too, Phil! What is the name of the village? Was it near San Giovanni Rotondo?

Well….as I said, it’s a stretch of the imagination but fun to ponder.

Shall I dare to crawl out onto a flimsy branch?
Yep. The Saint was known for having the supernatural gift of bilocation. Ok. Enough.

The beauty of the story is our heroic family who spared the lives of these children.

God is to be glorified in his angels and in his saints.

Daniel Cheely-

The distance is significant. The village is north of Balogna vs. the red marker which indicates San Giovanni Rotondo.
