At the risk of calling down fire and brimstone from the deadlier of the species, my wife would say that this because with men you know what you get but with women you never know. Some women go out of their way to sabotage other women. While she didn’t work for a long time outside of the home, she got to the point she refused to work for female bosses. I understand that’s this is not an unusual position.
Ah! So I *should* go pheasant hunting with just the guys.
