All we need is the continuous “Erm, ackshually…” nonsense from the Where Peter Is crowd, especially misquoting and misapplying Lumen Gentium 25.
Adding into the point I made yesterday, I want one, *just one* journalist with stones to ask Leo how he reconciles his comments with all the police in the Vatican armed with, ahem, “weapons of war.”
Methinks we’ll be waiting a long time.
When you warp general principles to attack a specific action, you have little regard for those principles.
In matters of faith especially.
Jesus was hardest of all on hypocrisy.
