Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
There has never been a bigger inspiration to me in how I teach than Bishop Sheen. His influence and fingerprints can be found all through my lessons – and I think a lot of that comes back to how he reached all people regardless of their religious bent. Re-watching old episodes of Life Is Worth Living provides a wonderful opportunity to see the master work his craft in service of The Master.
And the best indication of how great he was is the fact that the “great” clerics of our day have done everything they can to stop his beautification.
