Go here to read the story. Glad that Pizzaballa did not get the nod to become pope, although I thought otherwise during the conclave. I think Trump’s Board of Peace is dubious, not because it is colonialist, but because I think the Palestinians, at least their leaders, have no interest in peace that does not involve them massacring the Israelis.

I care not one iota about what any cleric including the Pope says or thinks about the United States of America and the current Administration. None of them deserve to occupy the sacred offices in which they sit. Every single one of them is unworthy of leadership in the Church.
Pizzaballa has never (TMK) criticized Palestinian leaders for digging tunnels, acquiring weapons and launching missiles. Has he?
Bishops in America have never criticized catholic leaders in countries that migrants are supposedly escaping from. Have they?
Yes, I think that Trump’s international redevelopment of Gaza will fail because it is like entering into a partnership with a pyromaniac to build a building. The goals are just not compatible.
On the other hand, many of Trump’s projects seem to be designed to reveal realities that we “aren’t allowed to notice.”
By having several, non Israel partners in this project, by enlisting some of the pyromaniacs that really want to reform, it will expose the other pyromaniacs – the ones that really do “just want to watch the world burn.”
According to Jason Jones of the VPP, Israel has killed so many innocent Palestinians. 83% women and children. Now they are killing Catholics that have been there since the first century. Descendants of St. James. Seriously, I am so sick of Usrael pulling us into wars.
Iran would be a blood enemy of this country if Israel never existed. As for Israel, the people who hate it tend to also hate the United States.
