Marco is working behind the scenes for sure… he’s not “little” and he’s not sipping water..
The artificial stasis bluff of the past decades has been called by Trump. If borders are not important, then borders are no longer sacrosanct.
The “all wars are bad” crowd chose peace at all costs. We are in the first throes of major international change. It will almost certainly get messy.
I do not know if that is a net good or net evil, but I am glad Venezuela is freer. I would be glad if Cuba was too. Same with those oppressed Western Canadians!
John Paul Sartre and Fidel Castro were political twins.
Even should Pres.Trump succeed in shepherding change in Cuba, the probability is that the final product will be rather similar to Latin American countries of the past century. There will be and elected “Jefe”, a reasonably hard working electorate that will be satisfied with minor improvements in economic conditions and finally a clergy serving as a leaven to keep order. Much beyond this will take time.

Trump has told the European elites to buzz off.
Trump is reasserting the Monroe Doctrine.
He is doing it without invading country after country
Maduro will never again see l the world without bars in front of him.

Cuba will become an extension of Florida. You won’t recognize the place ten years after the Commies are gone There will be massive investment in the island. It would not surprise me if after 30 years after Communism is banished, Cuba has a stronger economy than Quebec….who will ignore the vast quantities of timber, oil and gas it has and continue shining about speaking French.
