But in all seriousness, mediation and intercession is such an integral part of our humanity – why shouldn’t that extend to the spiritual side of our humanity?
I think it was said in a previous comment thread in the last couple of days, that suspicion of something like intercessory prayer is ultimately suspicion of the Incarnation itself, with all its implications.
