As is ever more clearer, Pope Francis loved second rate talent. I’m still surprised that Barron was made a bishop, he has a brain and actually uses it, unlike these three.

Our bishops are, essentially, agents of a foreign head of state. Our bishops are chosen, assigned, promoted and retired by one man and one man alone, the Bishop of Rome.
It is what it is.

The ecclesiastical wing of the party of abortion. Call me a cynic but this is all about the midterms and Trump. It’s disgusting.

Exactly right, David WS. This is the first of many thinly disguised (if disguised at all) campaign ads for the Democrats. Now would be a great time to revoke the tax exemption of religious organizations, if only the RINO’s in Congress could actually do something other than protect their rice bowls.

It’s unfortunate that there is no way of impeaching a cardinal or a bishop other than the Good Lord doing it.

A good time to remember that Wolsey was not only a bishop, but a cardinal.

Rank and prestige are no defense against evil. If anything, they are bullseyes whose etching weakens the armor they so ornament.

Pray for these men. They likely do deserve fearful things- and God will see to it that justice is eventually done. Yet, pray – so that they may, after much uncomfortable correction, be saved by the One that seeks to save each of us.

BTW – Here is the link to the CE’s Spirit of Francis Award. IMHO it looks more like Sumerian grave goods than a Catholic saint.

Excuse me? “Decades”? Did you forget the decade-plus of No Blood for Oil protests? The alternating complaints that the US lost its moral authority because of its support of Israel or Palestine, open trade or trade restrictions, Ukraine or Russia? And neither side is innocent on this one, but certainly “every current Republican president is the worst ever”.

I attended Novus Ordo Mass all my life. But I can see now that because of the allowance for innovations and propensity of priest performance, this attracted the wrong type of characters. Homosexuals were able to secure a hold on appointments, it is they that are attracted to performance and innovation, which now appears to be spiraling out of control.

Latin is the future. I can say that because I’ve been paying attention (just as you) and I’ve never even been to a Latin mass.

Read Ezekiel 8 through 11. God will impeach these clerics, in His own good time, but when He does, it will be the same as the impeachment in the time of Ezekiel, and it ain’t going to be pretty. What we’re seeing today is no different than what God showed Ezekiel was happening in the 1st Jewish Temple before its destruction by the Babylonians. The Vatican and the USCCB had better wake up and fly right before God unleashes His judgment. Mark these words: their evil will NOT go unpunished.

If I was in the Archdiocese of Washington I would not set foot in a church controlled by McElroy. While I was in the area, I was in either the Arlington Diocese or the Baltimore Archdiocese. At least Baltimore has a parish run by the FSSP.

The Diocese of Arlington VA has many conservative and traditional priests. A good number of vocations. The Diocese of Richmond is a different story.
I still have hard feelings about both bishops kowtowing to then Gov Northham during Covid 19.

Sorry Sean:
The Vatican is universal as is the Catholic Church from Adam until the end of time.
The three fools in the picture are ingrates. Causing hemorrhoidal sphincters is not love, not even lust since idiocy permeates their exercise of their God-given bodies.
