Neolithic tribal thinking from alleged “progressives”. The idea of the “noble foe”, received honorably in surrender, disappeared, it seems. Speculation as to why, or is this just a (hopefully passing) woke thing? If I face hanging upon surrender, better the bullet in war than the noose in “peace”.
Most wokesters couldn’t win a fight with a troop of Campfire girls, let alone a Confederate regiment screaming the rebel yell as they attacked.
