Thought for the Day

Does the wretched gang at the Vatican really want Mother Mary to enter the lists against them?

Actually, I believe that they are using Mary to get their own way.

Her cooperation in the work of salvation was never intended to defile her Son’s church with wayward disobedient children who, with Satan’s inspiration, formed the Lavender Mafia which one day will feel the weight of Her heel on their head.

Our Lady, Help of Christians, guide this Church.

“Certain Marian titles”, I’m guessing, refers mainly to the titles of “Co-Redemptrix” or “Mediatrix of All Graces”. I know where they came from and the reasoning behind them, but we have to admit, they will sound to untrained ears as if Mary is being made a second Savior equal to Christ Himself. I have nothing against Marian devotion in general and I pray to her daily, but I can’t help but cringe at the prospect of having to explain such titles to people who are already convinced that Catholics “worship” Mary.

I strongly doubt they’re praying the Rosary intently, and any gumption to speak on this subject should be avoided if one is not praying the Rosary intently.

In short, I fear for their souls. And if they harbor any ulterior motives, their damnation. Pray that’s not the case.

I have a feeling that “Ecumenism” is about to rear its ugly head again. As our youth become me traditional, the leadership keeps going in the opposite direction.

The old guard can’t die off soon enuf. The 1960’s garbage has rotten but the stench remains in many of the older Cardinals who are determined to screw up the world on their way out the door of this life. Good luck getting Mary’s help in the next fella. The old guys aren’t that smart but they are scary.

In the Fall it wasn’t until Adam and Eve had both eaten of the forbidden fruit that their eyes were opened. Suggesting that Original Sin was a one flesh sin. Would not the redemption be a one flesh redemption? Adam was the priest of Eden. Jesus is the Eternal High Priest. We call Original Sin the sin of Adam, even though Adam and Eve had both sinned. The same could be said for our redemption. Jesus takes primacy in the redemption like Adam takes primacy in Original Sin. Adam failed in his priestly duties, whereas Christ fulfilled His priestly duties with His self sacrifice on the Cross. Remember Mary is known as Our Lady of Sorrows with her Seven Sorrows depicted as swords piercing her Immaculate Heart. Through her fiat and her Seven Sorrows Mary shared in Christ’s Passion and Death. We call Mary the Undoer of Knots, reversing Eve’s sin. Co-redemption could mean together or with and not necessarily equal.

Mary said at Her Sons first miracle: “Do as He tells you”. Not “do as I say”. Nor did Mary force her Jesus into turning water into wine. It was all. About Her Son.

Its looking as though are going to spin the Co-Redemptrix title (of which IMHO is a fitting definition of Mary’s role in the story of Salvation) into a feminist new-age narrative. Our Lady would not approve. Nor should we.

Fernandez is a creep (a wolf in sheep’s clothing) and is in no position to be schooling the Faithful on Mary. Why is he still around?
