The story is pay walled, but I don’t think you need to read it to conclude that this is a monument to modern folly.

In my experience… Its God Who names a child through the parents as they both LOVE certain names over others. If you Believe and let Him.
She probably uses some crystal, psychic mumbo jumbo. I don’t blame her, I blame the stupid parents.
The $30,000 quickly turns into $100,000 when she names their male child Susan. A case of the wallabies being in cahoots with the kangaroos.
Then, to add insult to injury, they collectively push legislation to get taxpayer funded sex change therapies and procedures for the innocent little lad.
Boy. How cynical I’ve become in this era of Frankenstein teaming up with the zombies.
Wake me up when it’s all over.
Oh. And don’t name my dog. I can’t afford the “service.”
I can see the ad now “Psychics brought to you by AI.” What could go wrong?
There’s a scene in the Rite when Michael is exorcizing the priest played by Anthony Hopkins and he yells at the devil “Give me your name!” I wonder how many times the psychic came up with the name Kali or Lilith.
My wife and I prayed about what to name the baby that came along 12 years after her sisters. We were still quaint enough to say we didn’t want to know the sex of the baby and we decided that if it was a boy it was Michael and if it was a girl it was Michelle.
LKL-
You say “quaint” that you did not choose to know the sex of your child before birth, but there has been a resumption of this is some more conservative people.
Little things like this seem like buds on the trees.
I’ll wager this is a hoax.
Art – unfortunately it’s true. She is a “doula” and “reiki” practitioner.

Apparently, she used to charge a lot less, but all the online mockery of her “professional services” have produced a demand for her unique skill set, proving the adage that no publicity is bad publicity.
