From Blesses Solanus Casey;

“We should ever be grateful for and love the vocation to which God has called us. This applies to every vocation because, after all, what a privilege it is to serve God, even in the least capacity!”

Gratitude in all things is a sign of friendship with God. Call it Childlike trust. Marvel at the violet, the glistening dew on the early morning grass.
And as we age we can see that [so many crosses in our life ended being great graces in disguise.]
– Solanus Casey

Happy and blessed feast day everyone.

In 2020 I prayed that Trump would be reelected. God did not grant what I wanted. But now I think that was a good thing.

George Haberberger: Bishop Sheen says God answers every prayer …

Sometimes He says “Yes”
Sometimes He says “No”
and sometimes He says “Wait” 🙂

Yeah… sometimes it’s good to stop and ask yourself, “When I pray the Our Father, do I really mean ‘Thy will be done’ or am I just mouthing the words…”

To put it another way, do I want someone who is wiser than I can imagine, who loves me better than I love me, making the call – or am I gonna keep praying for shiny stiluff cuz it looks cool 🤦
