Candace Owens is a great example of how our social media culture tempts and demands people to broadcast an opinion about *everything* – especially to stay in the spotlight – even when said individuals are straying very far from their area of expertise, such as it is. It’s sad, annoying, and ultimately poisonous.
I have a suspicion that being ‘far from her field of expertise’ is not Miss Owens’ most salient problem.
It’s not her most salient problem, but this kind of nonsense she is spewing is partly reflective of that incessant need to stay in the spotlight and engagement farm. Now she will only be known for her anti Semitic kookery.
What does she know well? She can recite some stats that are true, and I’m always happy when someone is telling the truth, but I don’t trust her to even know whether her statements are true or false.

She was alright when she was sticking to criticizing the BLM movement and critical race theory and such. Once she went beyond that, it all went to hell. She bought her own hype and got burned by it.
