Many has the day I have felt like this. Depression will do that
Feelings and intentions are not meritorious, however overcoming them is.
There are those 7° below zero Sunday mornings when the wind is picking up the snow and hurdling it sideways.
The comfort of the comforter. The anticipation of that first cup of coffee. The warming of the waffle maker.

The shoveling of drifts.
The starting of the frigid truck.
The chattering of teeth while you pull away from home listening to the squeaky snow under the tires…
