One of the fruits of having strong Catholic families.
Runs in the Family

Absolutely. There is a young man being ordained today in the Archdiocese of Washington who has two older brothers who are already priests and a sister who is in the process of taking her final vows in her order. How strong their faith is to serve in that cesspool known as the ADW.
In the Consolata Fathers, we have several families with two and three priests and sisters. I believe this is so because the siblings see the consummate joy in their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Wonderful examples. This, of course, used to be common in the days before our culture began in earnest to depopulate itself through abortion, contraception, and other assorted anti-family practices and secular creeds.
Make big families popular again, and many good things will happen.
A large portion of FSSP priests are brothers. We’ve had two here with 3 brothers in the Fraternity; with one who had multiple sisters in religious life as well.
So beautiful. God calls the most attractive (inside and out) to be His beloved servants.
Large Catholic families have the best odds when it comes to children adopting religious vocations. We have the same happening in Australia. Fr Nathan ordained at 24, was at one stage Australia’s youngest priest. He is from a family of 12. His brother is a friar and sister is a nun. He hails from my husbands hometown of Toowoomba.

There are other local large Catholic families who have followed suit. The Church is very much alive.
