It is clear as glass that President Trump has both the Constitutional and statutory authority to federalize the California National Guard. However, with Leftists, including too many who wear black robes, we are dealing with individuals who have no belief in either the Constitution or federal statutes, except as means to an end. This is going to continue until either the Supreme Court intervenes or Trump begins to ignore the more manic rulings, a dangerous move, pregnant with disaster for our Republic.

I see three possibilities, with the first of your possibilities having two options.
1.) The Supreme Court overrules these rulings. Then leftist judges just do more, since worst case scenario they gum up the process through injunctions and throw a bone to their allies in the media.
2.) Not only are the the rulings overruled, but the judges responsible for them are severely punished, possibly jailed. This would likely put an end to the tactic, but the media has pretty successfully sold the narrative that judges are above the law (even to some conservatives.) So there’s blowback.
3.) Trump or a later president says that some rulings are so ridiculous that they cannot reasonably be considered as interpretations of the law, and hence can be ignored. Probably the best option in a sane world, but since most people have no knowledge of the law or the reasonings given for various rulings, probably even more blowback than option 2.
But option 1.) is unacceptable and will cause the greatest amount of damage long-term to the country.

Ignoring an illegal order is just.
Tyranny and lawlessness can wear a black robe, military uniform or three piece suit. There is no practical difference.
Gavin Newsom must be held liable for all damage caused by the rioting after this court case seeking the withdrawal of the National Guard.
