PopeWatch: Invalid Pope?

Can the Pope only be kept alive through intensive medical care?  Interesting how reluctant his physicians are to give a prognosis.

Guess we now know those “48-72 hours to go” rumors breathlessly put out by the tabloids were baseless.

But that’s literally the only thing we can know for sure at this point.

Biden was kept alive for the four years of his Presidency. There is no telling how long Pope Francis can be kept alive.

Like Cdn Pell’s physicians, they have their orders.

Sad about Cardinal Pell.

I didn’t watch “Conclave” for obvious reasons, however I saw enough trailers to understand that Hollywood knows how corrupt the Vatican is when it comes to power. It’s not a good sign when Hollywood is making movies about Church corruption and kinda getting it correct.

How do we know he’s alive?

Dr. McClung, how did we know Biden was (or even is) alive? 😉😉😉 Yes, I am being a sarcastic smart jacka$$.

“Conclave” got great reviews but most Catholic comments I’ve seen thought it was boring, and/or laughed at the ending. I think Catholics have a sharper awareness of the character flaws among the ordained. The seculars think they’re being naughty and controversial describing fictional scenarios that are tame compared to history.

Ha! Invalid as the noun! I thought you meant the adjective, as in “not valid”! For a minute I thought Donald had gone all sedevacantist on us! 😀

Pinky: I was listening to Damian Thompson’s new Holy Smoke podcast and was surprised to hear him praise the movie … Apparently, he’s seen it a couple times.

I do not like the idea of him ‘working’: for example the appointing of another bad bishop in S. America.

Magdalene – I still am waiting for the shoe to drop in San Diego. Latest rumor I heard was that an “administrator” is to be appointed. Sounds ominously like psntsuits and Birkenstocks.

CAG – Perhaps someone needs to start a YouTube channel, a sort of MST3K for bad “Catholic” movies.
