Biden Should Have Taken It With Him

The Oval Office privy might be a good place to hang it.  Milley was pardoned which relieves him from criminal liability.  That does not spare him from being reactivated, court-martialed, reduced in rank to Buck Private and assigned to mop the floor of the PX at Fort Leonard Wood.

As much as I dislike Milley and would love to see him retire as on a private’s pension or none at all, I am not a fan of removing evidence of past regimes.

We will not always have the upper hand and we have an obligation to be better people than our adversaries.

When you get a poster of the popes, ALL the popes are there, the womanizers, simonizers, South Americans…

Remove the honor, but preserve the record.

Bruised: Removing the portrait of someone from a place of honor isn’t the same as purging them from the historical record.

CAG- the photo suggests that the portraits all who have held that particular post are hung there. If that is the case, he ought to be there.
If he was only hung there as a special honor, that is entirely different and he should be removed.
We have a place in the church basement where photos of all the priests who have served the parish are hung. I would not approve of a gap there either.

Optimist:
In the Palace of the Doges in Venice are portraits of all the men who have held that office. When one was executed as a traitor, they left an unmarked black curtain as a placeholder – and reminder to his successors.

I believe that 2nd lieutenant is as low as he can be legally reduced. I would be satisfied with that. Particularly if he were gifted with a toilet brush and sent to an Undisclosed Location.

I’ve got a compromise … They should find a suitable Pentagon urinal to hang it in!

Maybe the one Admiral Levine uses?
